MapleStory client version 1.2.22 has been released.
In this patch, the following items have been modified and added.

<Game-related> 1. Beginner skill has been added. - Three snails - recovery - Agile movements

  • The issue where two passes could be obtained from monsters using the thief's steel skill during the Ludibrium party quest has been fixed. If you successfully steal one using the thief's steal skill, the pass will not drop even if you hunt a monster.
  • Pet food merchants have now started selling ‘Pet Command Manual: Monkey Edition’.
  • An issue where notifications about quests whose completion period has expired was only displayed to some users every time they log in has been fixed.
  • Damage that was displayed as a miss to others when using Meso Explosion among the Thief Master skills is now displayed as correct damage.
  • MapleStory 3rd Anniversary items will no longer be dropped.
  • An issue where the party member’s HP appeared to be unfilled has been corrected.
<Map related> 1. Other - The issue of the character falling down and the rope not being able to climb up in the Deep Valley and Wandering Swamp 2 areas has been fixed. - The cliff area of the ruins has been partially modified. - ‘Dark Exump’, which appeared in Victoria Island, has now appeared in the lower village area. - Some terrain on Victoria Island has been modified. - Some terrain in Osiria has been modified. <UI-related> 1. Beginner skill tab has been added. - Beginner Skill SP (Skill Point) is a point used to acquire a beginner skill.

  1. The following quests have been added to Osiria and Victoria Island.
  • Gold Ax and Silver Ax: Mountain Spirit, level 45 or higher
  • Retrieve Gold Ax, Silver Ax Storybook: Librarian Wiz, level 45 or higher
  • Relics Excavation Team Announcement: Relics Excavation Team bulletin board, level 60 or higher

  • The issue of obtaining an infinite number of life spells when completing a quest to extend a pet's life in Ludibrium has been corrected. You can only get one at a time.
<Event-related> 1. Sea Day event has been added. More information can be found on the Maple Story official website. 2. An event for PC room users is underway. - PC room user experience gained by 20% and the amount of meso earned increases depending on the access time - Weapon rental event exclusively for PC rooms. You can rent it from NPC Matilda in each village. Rented items can only be rented in PC rooms and are automatically returned to Matilda when the connection is terminated.
